Which size
A trailer on its own does not need a tractor-trailer stall
Every standard stall is the same $129.99 a month, so this is about fit, not price. A 53-foot trailer dropped without its tractor fits a 55-foot stall. You only need the 80 if the tractor is staying coupled to it.
- 11.6 × 40 ft: $129.99/moPup trailers, short flatbeds, and anything under about 38 feet.
- 11.6 × 55 ft: $129.99/moA dropped 53-footer with room to hook back up. The right stall for a drop-and-hook operation.
- 11.6 × 80 ft: $129.99/moTractor and trailer coupled, or a trailer you want plenty of room around.
- 13 to 14.6 ft wide: call 1-844-LOCK-RIG for the rateOversize and XL. Wide loads that will not sit inside 11.6 feet.
Availability moves daily and the shorter stalls are popular, so rather than print a number that goes stale, the booking system shows which sizes are open tonight. If you are not sure what you need, call and describe the trailer — it is a thirty-second conversation.
Running a tractor coupled to it rather than dropping the trailer?
Drop and hook
A trailer that is waiting is not a trailer that is earning
The point of a drop lot is that the box keeps working while the tractor does something else. That only holds if getting in and out is frictionless at the hours freight actually moves.
Left standing
Secure trailer parking and drop yard
A dropped trailer sits for days or weeks with nobody in it, longer than anything else on a yard. That makes where it sits the whole question, and it is why the layout matters as much as the fence.
- No blindside stallsEvery space is visible from a drive aisle and within camera coverage. No back corner tucked out of sight.
- No-exit loopIn and out the same way. There is no through route, so nobody uses the yard as a cut-through.
- Resident managerA manager lives on the property.
- Individual credentialsApp access per driver, so every entry is attributable rather than anonymous.
- Backup generatorOn site, with steps in place for a power outage.
- LED lit end to endThe whole yard. The photograph at the top of this page is the lot after dark, unretouched.
Cargo theft is the risk that actually costs money on a loaded box.

Questions
Before you drop one here
Do I need an 80-foot space for a dropped trailer?
Usually not. A 53-foot trailer on its own fits a 55-foot stall. Every standard stall is $129.99 a month, so pick the size that fits. Take the 80 if the tractor is staying attached or you want room around it. The shorter stalls are popular, so the booking system is the honest answer on what is open.
How much is it?
$129.99 a month or $14.99 a day for any standard space, 40 to 80 feet. For oversize widths of 13, 13.6 and 14.6 feet, call 1-844-LOCK-RIG for the rate.
Can one driver drop it and another collect it?
Yes — that is what the yard is set up for. Gate access is on individual app credentials, so a drop at 2am and a collection at 5am both work without anyone being called, and both entries are attributable to a person rather than to a shared code.
Is it safe to leave a loaded trailer for a few weeks?
A dropped trailer sits unattended longer than anything else on a yard, so the layout matters as much as the fence. There are no blindside stalls — every space is visible from an aisle and within camera coverage — and the yard runs as a no-exit loop, so there is no through route. Add gated individual access, perimeter fencing, LED lighting end to end, a backup generator and a resident manager.
Is there secure trailer parking near Houston?
LockRig is west of Houston, not in it: 3485 FM 362 in Brookshire, off I-10 exit 732, about 35 minutes and 38 miles from downtown. The yard is gated and fenced, with individual app credentials, cameras, LED lighting end to end, a backup generator and a resident manager on the property. A dropped 53-footer fits a 55 ft stall at $129.99 a month or $14.99 a day. Truck parking west of Houston covers the drive.
Will an oversize or XL trailer fit?
Standard stalls are 11.6 feet wide. Wider than that, there are 13, 13.6 and 14.6-foot spaces on the yard; call 1-844-LOCK-RIG for the rate. If you are close to the line, call and describe the load rather than guessing.
Can I store several trailers?
Yes. Five or more gets one invoice and one point of contact instead of five separate bookings. Call 1-844-LOCK-RIG and we will work out terms.
