The gap in the middle

Too much for the back room, nowhere near enough for a warehouse

Small business storage tends to fall into a gap. The stock has outgrown the office, the garage and the spare room — but the next thing anyone offers is a unit with a footprint you do not need and a lease term measured in years.

  • No lease termMonth to month, no contract. Commit to a month at a time rather than three years.
  • Add one for a seasonTake a second vault for the busy months and give it back afterwards. Try that with a building.
  • No fit-out, no utilitiesNothing to install, insure separately or switch on. It is a sealed box you put things in.
  • No staff needed on siteThe yard is gated and managed. You are not standing up an operation to hold stock.
  • 160 sq ft per vaultGround level, all usable floor. Take two side by side if one is not enough.
  • Predictable costOne monthly figure. No service charge, no rates, no dilapidations at the end.

What businesses keep here

Stock that has to come out again

The distinction that matters is not what you are storing, it is how often you need to reach it. Archive that sits untouched for seven years can go anywhere. Stock that moves in and out weekly needs a door you can reverse a vehicle to.

  • Seasonal inventoryThe stock that only exists for a quarter of the year, out of the way for the other three.
  • E-commerce overflowBulk buys and slow movers, off the floor where the picking happens.
  • Event and hire kitStaging, furniture, displays and PA, boxed between bookings.
  • Trade counter surplusSpare fittings, fixtures and returns that need to stay somewhere dry and findable.
  • Equipment between sitesMachines and plant parked up rather than left on a job over a weekend.
  • Records and archiveBoxed files where you can actually get at a year when you need one.

Vaults are sealed against rain and humidity but are not climate controlled. Anything that minds a Houston August — electronics, some finishes, anything perishable — belongs in an indoor unit instead.

Access & security

Gated, watched, and open when your day is

Stock is only worth storing somewhere you can reach it and trust it. Both halves of that are the same yard the trucks use, which is a higher standard than most storage sites run.

  • Individual credentialsApp access issued per person, not a shared code — so entries are attributable.
  • 24/7, seven daysCollect at 6am or restock at 10pm. No office hours to plan a delivery around.
  • Sealed steel, no shared wallsEach vault is its own box, not a partition away from someone else’s stock.
  • Cameras & perimeter fencingMonitored and recording, fenced on every side, one controlled way in.
  • Resident managerContinuous on-property management rather than a patrol twice a night.
  • Backup generatorThe gate and cameras survive an outage instead of failing open.

Every one of those is photographed and cited on the security page.

The app

Questions

Before you move stock in

Is there a lease term?

No. Month to month, no contract to sign and no term to commit to. That is the main reason businesses use a vault instead of a small industrial unit — you are not signing three years for stock that might be gone in six months.

How much is it?

From $88 a month for an 8×20 — 160 square feet at ground level. Monthly only, so there is no daily or weekly rate. Individual vaults vary and the booking system shows the rate on each one that is available.

Can I take a second one for a busy season?

Yes, and it is a sensible way to handle a seasonal swing — take another vault for the peak, hand it back when it passes. Sizing a permanent space for your busiest month means paying for that space in the eleven months you do not need it. Call 832-979-2713 if you want more than one arranged together.

Can staff collect without me being there?

Gate access is on individual app credentials rather than a code the whole office knows, so entries are attributable to a person. If you need access for more than one member of staff, talk to us and we will set it up properly rather than have you share a login.

Can a delivery come straight to the vault?

Yes. Vaults are at ground level on the yard with double doors opening the full eight-foot width, so a van or box truck reverses to the opening and unloads. Pallets come in on the forks and stay on the pallet — no breaking a load down to fit a goods lift.

Will stock stay dry?

Steel walls, floor and roof with sealed doors, built for Gulf Coast rain and the humidity behind it. They are not climate controlled, though — anything sensitive to summer heat should go in an indoor unit instead, and we would rather say so now than after a bad August.
