Why this yard

98% of drivers struggle to find safe parking. This is the fix, five minutes off the interstate.

The national numbers are brutal — 70% of drivers admit to breaking hours-of-service rules while hunting for a spot, and there are over 2.2 million highway-ramp parking events a year. Texas ranks second in the country for parking demand.

The corridor

Brookshire is the right side of Houston for westbound freight

A yard inside Houston suits a load going east. If you run I-10 west — toward San Antonio, El Paso, the Valley — every mile back into Houston is a mile you drive twice.

This yard sits five minutes off the interstate at Brookshire, ahead of the metro rather than behind it. Katy, Fulshear, Waller, Cypress, Sealy and Richmond are all a short run out. Drivers staging for a morning pickup west of the city save the whole deadhead.

Questions

Before you book

How much is truck parking per month?

$129.99 a month or $14.99 a day for any standard space, 40 to 80 feet. Wide-load spaces: call 1-844-LOCK-RIG for the rate. The full card is above, and there is no quote form.

What size space do I need?

A tractor with a 53-foot trailer wants the standard 11.6′ × 80′. A bobtail, box truck, day cab or van fits the 40-foot space. Anything over 12 feet wide needs a wide-load space — 13′, 13.6′ or 14.6′. If you are unsure, call and describe the rig.

Is monthly cheaper than paying daily?

Substantially. Every standard space is $14.99 a day or $129.99 a month, so monthly pays for itself from the ninth night. If you are here regularly, take the month.

Can I get in and out at night?

Yes, 24/7 through the app on your own access credential. Your keypad code is the backup if your phone dies.

Do you have space right now?

Usually, including standard 80-footers. Availability moves daily, so rather than print a number that goes stale, the booking system is the accurate answer — it shows what is actually open tonight.

Do you take fleets?

Yes. Five trucks or more gets one invoice and one point of contact rather than five separate bookings. Call 1-844-LOCK-RIG and we will work out terms.

How do I rent truck parking here?

Click Reserve at the top of any page and choose Truck & trailer parking or 8×20 storage vault, then follow the steps: pick your dates and pay in the BestTruckParking app. The same app opens the gate when you arrive. Every standard stall is $129.99 a month or $14.99 a day.

Can I rent for one night?

Yes. A night is $14.99 for any standard stall, booked in the app. The gate is open 24/7, so you can arrive at any hour.

Do you rent trailer or drop-lot space?

Yes. A dropped 53-foot trailer fits an 11.6 by 55 foot stall at $129.99 a month or $14.99 a day, and you can drop and hook at any hour. See trailer parking and drop lot.

Do you rent parking for RVs and boats?

Yes. RVs and boats on trailers park on the same gated yard at the standard rate: $129.99 a month or $14.99 a day for any standard stall, 40 to 80 ft. Boat parking is uncovered. Not sure which stall fits? Call 1-844-LOCK-RIG.
