Booking and payment
Booking and payment
Do I need to book before I arrive?
It helps, and it is the only way to know a stall is waiting. Spaces book online in a couple of minutes and the gate recognises you when you get here.
Can I book from the cab?
Yes. The whole thing runs in the BestTruckParking app — reserve, pay and open the gate from the same place, with no phone call in the middle.
What if I turn up without booking?
Call ahead if you can. Availability moves daily and the standard 80-foot stalls go first, particularly late in the week.
Can I pay monthly by card?
Yes, in the app. Fleet accounts of five spaces or more are invoiced instead — one bill rather than one per truck.
Can I change or cancel?
Monthly bookings are month to month with no term. For daily and weekly, talk to us — it is easier to sort by phone than to guess at a policy here.
Access and hours
Access and hours
What time does the gate close?
It does not. Access is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. In a 2026 survey of 10,431 storage facilities only 36.7% confirmed 24-hour access.
How does the gate work?
An individual credential in the app, with a keypad code as backup. Not a shared PIN — an entry is attributable to a person.
What if my phone is dead?
Your keypad code still works. That is exactly why there are two ways in.
What happens in a power cut?
A backup generator keeps the gate operating and the cameras recording. An unpowered gate fails either locked with your vehicle inside or standing open all night.
Can more than one driver have access?
Yes, and for a fleet that is the point — credentials are issued per person, so the gate log tells you who as well as when.
Sizes and what fits
Sizes and what fits
How do I know which stall I need?
Stalls are priced by size, so it is only a question of what fits. A tractor alone is 20 to 25 feet, a dropped 53-foot trailer needs about 55, and a full combination is 70 to 75.
What if I am not sure?
Call and describe the vehicle. It takes about thirty seconds and it beats paying for eighty feet you do not need.
Do you take oversize?
Standard stalls are 11.6 feet wide. Above that there are 13, 13.6 and 14.6-foot stalls for wide loads.
Is there a height limit?
No. The stalls are outdoors and open to the sky, so a high-roof van, a rack or a tall trailer is not a problem.
Can I park a trailer without the tractor?
Yes — that is what the 55-foot stalls are for, and they cost less than the 80-foot ones sized for a coupled combination.
The storage vaults
The storage vaults
How big is a vault?
8 by 20 feet — 160 square feet at ground level, with twenty feet of it in a straight line. That length is what takes 16-foot material an indoor unit cannot.
Are they climate controlled?
No. They are sealed steel against rain and Gulf Coast humidity, but not temperature controlled. Anything that minds a Houston August belongs in an indoor unit.
Can I drive right up to it?
Yes. Ground level, on the yard, with double doors opening the full eight-foot width. No corridor, no lift, no trolley.
Can I rent a vault and a parking space together?
Plenty of people do. They book through separate flows at the moment, so reserve each one or call and we will set both up in one go.
Security
Security
Is anyone actually on site?
There is a resident manager — continuous on-property management rather than a patrol that swings by. Most facilities on this corridor are unstaffed keypad gates.
What is a blindside stall, and do you have them?
A space you reverse into on the driver's off side, where mirror visibility is poor. There are none here — every stall is visible from a drive aisle and covered by camera.
What is the no-exit loop?
The yard is laid out so vehicles come in and go back out the same way. No through route means no drive-through theft.
Is it fenced?
On every side, with one controlled entrance and LED lighting across the whole yard rather than one pole by the gate.
Getting here
Getting here
Which exit should I take?
I-10 exit 732, signed for FM 359 toward Brookshire. FM 362 meets FM 359 in town, and the entrance is marked from the road.
How far is it from Katy?
About fifteen minutes and eight miles. Fulshear is the same, Sealy about twenty minutes, and downtown Houston about fifty.
Is there anywhere to eat or shower nearby?
Fuel Maxx is about two minutes away on the same road, and the Flying J at exit 732 has showers, a CAT scale and laundry. Both are independent businesses.
Can I get a tire fixed?
Josh's Tire Shop operates on the property at the same address. It is an independent business with its own hours and pricing, so call them directly.

Ask us the awkward one
If the answer is that we are the wrong yard for you, we would rather say so than take the booking.
